This photograph was taken during a 100km in 5 days sponsored walk in the Namibian desert. I like landscapes, but don’t often shoot them. However, as I was carrying a camera and we didn’t get close to many animals (other than a few lizards and a small horned viper I almost stood on!), I thought that I would try to capture something of the beauty of the environment we were in.

We would start our walk at around 07.00 am, this was in the pre-dawn light, so there were plenty of opportunities to capture the sun rising above the mountains.

This limited edition fine art print comes with a certificate of authenticity with hologram, photographer’s signature and edition number in series. These prints will not be offered for sale again once the current editions sell out.
