This photograph was taken at a waterhole close to a lodge where I stayed in Etosha. It was quite a small waterhole and there didn’t seem to be any possibility of anything nasty lurking in the water (crocodiles come to mind).

Something startled this young zebra and caused it to get out of the water. While it proved to be a false alarm this time, it’s certainly a good reflex to develop.
