I love the combination of wild animals and our regular day to day activities. For six months of the year, humpback whales can be seen off the coast of Sydney. This is during the humpback's annual migration, from spending the summer in Antarctica, to the winter months off the coast of Queensland.

This activity is known as tail-throwing and was shot late one afternoon. If you get the opportunity to go out and see humpback whales, I recommend it.
